Although I'd love to see a contestant sing a song from an anime, or better yet, some fan-created song for an anime. For fun is one thing, but she auditioned for a show in the hopes that she would go pro. She has something there that could turn in to actual good singing if anyone bothered to make her work for it.

How entitled. This is why the "special snowflake" thing is terrible parenting. She's pretty cringey, but in the end, I can't help but feel sorry for her. She was lied to by her family and teachers, that isn't her fault. As far as her weebyness, I know this may not be a popular opinion here, but as long as she's just awkward and not actually obnoxious I think I could be friends with her. Yeah, the constant anime talk might get annoying, but she doesn't seem like she's even in the vicinity of being as bad as the stories we get here.

Of course I only have a few minutes of video to judge, she might be worse in real life, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. It made for an extra interesting episode of American Idol though. I don't know if I've been this entertained watching this show. This is sad. Just goes to show how shitty dishonest teachers are.
