Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice on clothing attire for the winter. I recently have been hired for an office position. It is a very laid back environment but I still need to look good and classy. Can someone point me in any type of direction?? Greatly appreciate it, The not so fashionable lesbian.
Slacks and a conservative top should be fine. The male standard is a polo and khakis. Avoid jeans and T-shirt. There is the casual business shirt as well, which sits in between formal business and polo and actually has a lot Lesbian business casual attire 'range' in terms of casualness.
Tattoo "busi" on one fist and "ness" on the other. Work khakis Dickies are a good choice, all the way to 5. Depending on what your workplace expects of the appearance of your clothes, you may need to press and crease your slacks, and make sure your shirts are pressed if appropriate or at the least wrinkle-free.
If you've got any arm tattoos, you might instead wish to wear long-sleeved shirts Such as an Oxford button-up or graphics sleeves. If this is what you're looking for - rather than something more 'traditionally feminine', so to speak - I can point you towards a few case examples and brands to look at, if you'd like. If you get a good pair of slacks, for instance, you'll screw them up faded lines, general loss of color, degeneration of the fabric, etc.
Thank you for the advice. Now, my following question would be What clothing and shoe stores would be recommend? I am on a bit of a budget, so I'm looking to be extravagant. Plus, I really don't know how to shop anyway.
Please take into factor that I am not so petite. I am fairly thin but broad. What sort of budget are you looking at, here, for how many days worth of clothes? What clothes do you need?
Do you need shoes and belt, too? Or are we starting completely from scratch? Found the internet! Business casual for a lesbian that does not know how to dress. Posted by 6 years ago. Sort by: best.
